Dutch Tulilps.....In Thailand

We got off to a slow start today lots of laying around as the weather was a bit overcast..  This is our beach villa I am resting whilst Jas took the photos. The weather soon cleared and we were on our way to the pool for a dip.

Not before a another trip to the spa though.   I had a manicure and my nails painted, not sure about the colour I picked it was called Dutch Tulips

Jas even did a bit of laying around whilst I was off getting my nails done.  I found him all comfortable on the day bed in our loungeroom on my return drinking a beer..... I guess it was after 12 so that's ok and he is on his holidays.

This one is for mum if she can actually work out how to get on to the blog she will appreciate this.  There is a swing out the front of villa and I think she would probably spend most of her days here just like her being at home on her front verandah on her swing.  It is quite comfortable and I did do a bit more laying about here.

We were on the way up to our lobby today when we stopped off to take this photo.  We are surrounded by rainforest here it is so beautiful we thought this would make a good photo.

Finally for me it was dinner time.....  I started off the day saying I would not be having another cooked breakfast just some fruit and cereal.   After a bacon buddy, snags and lots of sweet pastry I decided that I better not eat lunch.... (Jas was enforcing the rule by saying he was not hungry). It was the longest day.....  So I was at the bar at 530pm for happy hour and 2 for 1 cocktails just so I could eat the free hot peanuts...   We had ordered by 6pm and my starter arrived.   Wow hand cut potato wedges the real thing.  (Hillsy I wish you were here you would have loved them they even bought me some vinegar to have with them).  I followed this up with a peppercorn beef stir fry for main.   As I had not had lunch I thought it was only fair that I would have to have dessert.  I had some chocolate icecream and raspberry sorbet in an almond basket.   Jas on the other hand kept complaining how full he was after only 2 entrees.  Soft...   He is still full.   Another great day but I will make sure I have lunch tomorrow!!
