A Last Supper.....

Well - it was our last day in Pimalai - it began very well with a two hour all body massage - not normally one for massages - I could get used to this.
We decided to take things easy today & just enjoy the resort.  This meant a bit of pool & sea.  The view was pretty average as you can see below.

We had lunch down in the village & Mel visited a local beautician - there is a very funny story attached to that but it is not really suitable for print here - I am sure Mel will share it with you at a later point.

We had a last visit to Why Not ? and consummed a few cocktails - Mel discovered a "Blue Hawaii" which seems the new fav.
We then ventured up to Alama Restuarant - it was without doubt the find of the stay so far in the food stakes.  I had a whole baby red snapper in curry & coconut milk - it was incredible.  Shame it will be a while before we can eat there again.  We were situated on the roof of the building with a tree growing through it right beside our table.  It was a truely amazing evening & a great way to finish our stay on Pimalai.

Mel is very excited about Bangkok - so the next post will no doubt be full of shopping stories from her.
